We’re big fans of cycling here at Centrick! That’s why we set up “Pedalling Property”, a monthly cycle ride and networking breakfast for like-minded people in the property industry.
We start at around 7am, cycling for a couple of hours, before returning at around 9am, for free breakfast rolls and teas/coffees.
The event is aimed at business people, who are also keen cyclists, and who are looking to build new relationships with like-minded people from around the area. When arriving back at the START POSITION, we want people to stay for a while and enjoy a bacon sandwich and coffee. This is where the “business networking” element comes in.
Absolutely you can! The events are not about who can go the fastest or who won a race the past weekend. They are ridden at a sensible pace that everyone should be able to keep up with. After all, this is a networking event – we want people to be able to chat with each other and enjoy themselves.
Very much so. We ask that everyone familiarises themselves with the Guidelines to taking part in the ride. This is extremely important for your safety and the safety of others on the ride as well.
We want to get out on the bikes whenever we can, but we will not put anyone in harm’s way. If the weather is against us, then INSERT SPIN STUDIO HERE have very kindly offered us the use of the Spinning Studio, so you’ll still be able to enjoy a ride, followed by the networking.
We’ve selected the following dates for the rides:
We want to get everyone back to their offices for a full day of work, so we’ll start early in the mornings. Times will change according to the time of year, but we usually aim to meet at 7am and leave at around 7.15am. We return to the Devonshire at around 9am.
