Netherton Tech Park appoint Centrick Commercial to brand new commercial destination. Construction work is due to start soon on a new multi-million-pound West Midlands business park which will help to address the shortage of commercial space in the region.

The lettings team is handling queries from firms in the region that are keen to agree lettings at the attractive new business destination,

Alex Tross, commercial director at Centrick, said:

“This is a fantastic development which will bring much-needed investment and jobs to the area. It is well documented that there is a shortage of high quality commercial space and these new units will help to address that situation in Shropshire.

“We have already been talking to parties about letting units off-plan and we only expect interest to grow once construction gets underway.”

Centrick has been instructed by West Midlands-based developer Netherton Tech Park Ltd to market the units which range in size from 1,647 sq ft to 1,921 sq ft after gaining planning consent from Shropshire Council.

Centrick chairman James Ackrill said:

“This is an excellent instruction for our commercial agency team. Since establishing Centrick Commercial two years ago, we’ve experienced consistent growth and we look forward to expanding further in the coming months as we continue to gain new instructions right across the region and further afield.”

Centrick commercial agency director George Xydias said:

“Netherton Tech Park is a new business destination fronting New Road within the attractive Shropshire village of Highley. Fourteen newly constructed and versatile units are being offered, benefiting from partial mezzanine floor and allocated car parking. The site is easily accessible, being located just six miles north of Kidderminster, five miles south of Bridgnorth and 10 miles west of Dudley.”

The units will be arranged in two terraces facing one another across a hardstanding area. The site is a rectangular piece of land which lies behind a series of existing commercial units known as Netherton Workshops.

A total of approximately 23,000 sq ft of commercial floorspace will be provided, with each unit having a mezzanine area above the main ground floor commercial space, and living roofs. There will also be parking for 45 cars, and EV charging points. Construction is expected to get underway in Q2 and reach completion towards the end of the year.
