Meet Centrick at UK REiiF 2023

Here at Centrick, we’re committed to keeping up with trends, legislation and news in the property market and we’re delighted to be attending UK Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UK REiiF) this month to hear the latest from industry leaders across the country. What is UK REiiF?

UK REiiF is an annual event and an important date in the UK property industry calendar. This year’s event will take place in Leeds from Tuesday 16th – Thursday 18th May and will include a variety of seminars, exhibitions and discussions focusing on all aspects of the UK property market. 

The event attracts more than 6,000 attendees over the course of three days and brings together representatives from the public sector, Government, investors, funders, developers, housebuilders and more. Every core city and region in the country is involved, and UKREiiF is supported by a high number of regional combined authorities, local councils and Government departments, as well as the largest developers and investors from across the UK and internationally.

The event aims to connect people, places and businesses to accelerate and unlock sustainable, inclusive and transformational investment, as well as providing a platform for the public sector to showcase the scale of development progress and profile future investment opportunities

What’s happening at UKREiiF 2023?

This year’s event will play host to over 20 stages, featuring more than 500 speakers from across the industry, gathering all the key players, influencers and decision-makers within the investment and real estate markets. There will be a variety of conference sessions covering topics spanning the whole industry, from sustainable construction and social value to innovation and regeneration, as well as talks from several local councils and regional combined authorities who will discuss the long-term vision for their areas.

UKREiiF will also have an expansive exhibition space which will host a plethora of exhibitors showcasing their brand and their solutions, as well as highlighting best practice in the industry, offering attendees the opportunity to network and forge new partnerships with innovators in the industry.

The first evening of the event will feature an awards ceremony, which will take place in Millenium Square in Leeds from 6pm. Dubbed the ‘Festival of Achievement’, the awards recognise innovation, inspirational leadership and world-class partnerships across real estate, property and infrastructure, with over 600 professionals from the sector coming together to enjoy an evening of celebration. Unlike a traditional awards ceremony, the festival features pop-up street food stalls, networking opportunities fairground rides and live entertainment for attendees to enjoy.

Networking opportunities at UK REiiF

In addition to the exhibition hall, there will be a number of networking opportunities throughout the event including breakfast meetings, roundtables and even group ‘net-walking’, yoga and morning runs so that you can blow off the cobwebs with like-minded professionals.

As well as the more formal networking opportunities, there are a number of after-hours, informal Fringe events for delegates to share a drink or a bite to eat and unwind with other attendees. From quiz nights, game nights, and formal dinners to drinks receptions and more conventional networking forums, there’s sure to be something for everyone to enjoy!
