Centrick’s Alex Tross scoops ‘man of the year’ award

A director of residential and commercial property specialist Centrick is celebrating after being voted Birmingham’s ‘Man of the Year’ by fellow business leaders.

Commercial director Alex Tross scooped the honour at the City of Birmingham Business Awards 2022, staged by Downtown in Business. Alex said he was thrilled to be nominated alongside some of the city’s leading business figures.

To say I was very pleasantly surprised to win the award is a huge understatement but it is enormously satisfying to see my hard work, and support of the team at Centrick, recognised in this way,

Birmingham is a very close-knit business community. Everyone is keen to see other people succeed in what is a great place to do business. There are so many talented people who are very, very generous with their support.

So just to be nominated was a complete surprise. The category was very strong and to be in that kind of company was a tremendous boost personally. I’d like to think the award is an endorsement of how I go about conducting business and is testament to the strength of my network and our innovative commercial proposition.”

Some of the leading entrepreneurs from across the region were crowned at the event at the Park Regis Hotel. It was attended by over 300 leading business personalities gathered to celebrate the achievements of the city’s entrepreneurs.
