Centrick wins Park Central estate management contract
Residential and commercial property specialist Centrick has won a major new contract to manage part of an award-winning Birmingham development of homes. Centrick’s building and estate management division has been instructed at Park Central, south of Birmingham city centre, to manage around 650 homes by longstanding client E&J Estates.
The new contract is another coup for Centrick, said building and estate management director Sarah Hammond.
“Our team is having a fantastic year, winning major contracts across the country. We were recently appointed to manage the Spectrum development in Manchester and to follow that up with Park Central in Birmingham is a wonderful testament to the strength of our estate management division.“Park Central is a desirable place to live, conveniently located on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre. We are looking forward to working alongside our client and all the residents to maintain the buildings and communal areas, while improving communication and the delivery of services,”

Park Central is a large, mixed-use, development comprising of more than 1,500 apartments and houses. A 15-year regeneration project at the site of the former Lee Bank estate was delivered by housebuilder Crest Nicholson in partnership with Birmingham City Council and Optima Community Association. The development has transformed the area into a desirable place for city centre living.
Centrick managing director Phil Johns said:
“Park Central is a wonderful example of the regeneration of this great city and we are very proud to be appointed to deliver building and estate management services. Winning the instruction is another major vote of confidence in our team.”
Birmingham-based Centrick is investing more than £1 million this year as it recruits around 50 staff to deliver services from new regional offices in Sheffield and Gerrard’s Cross, as well as city hubs in Manchester, Portsmouth, and Nottingham.
More hubs at key locations are in the pipeline. Centrick’s building and estate management and build to rent teams will grow to more than 70 by the end of the year, handling a portfolio of over 350 developments comprising around 20,000 homes.
