Property specialist Centrick is celebrating after winning contracts to manage four of Birmingham’s best known apartment blocks containing more than 700 homes.
The Centrick building and estate management (B&EM) team secured a hat-trick of successes, being instructed to deliver its services at the Orion Building at Navigation Street, Watermarque at Browning Street and Temple House in Temple Street.
At the Sirius building, which neighbours Orion, a residents’ management company has also appointed the Centrick building and estate management team to provide their services.
Centrick group managing director Phil Johns said the company had won the four contracts by competitive tender, with its expertise in new legislation playing a vital part in the decision made by the landlord and management company.
“We are continuing to build on a planned period of growth within our B&EM division and we have secured some large flagship buildings. Some of these fall under new government legislation around fire safety and our capability, experience and expertise in this area played an important part in giving our new clients the confidence to appoint us,” said Phil.
The Orion Building has 352 apartments, Sirius 182, a further 161 at Watermarque and 52 apartments at Temple House.
Associate director integration at Centrick, Sam Deffley, said on the appointment and integration: “We’re delighted to bring these flagship buildings into the Centrick fold and have been actively working for months behind the scenes to establish and create clear plans that ensure we meet our clients’ needs and deliver for the owners, RMCs and of course the residents’ agenda in all of these buildings.”
Phil added: “Whilst further success in Birmingham is hugely satisfying because it is Centrick’s traditional heartland, we are pleased to share significant, continued growth in the southern region including Southampton and across the south coast to Kent. We have also been building very strong relationships in the North West, which is another strong growth area for the Centrick building and estate management team.”
